What you should know before you read
MATURE AUDIENCE ONLY (18+). The book has sex and vulgar language. If you’re easily offended by such contents, do not read.
It’s drama. Though there are many light hearted moments, the story tackles a difficult topic: grief. Those who are still suffering from mental illness or grief from a lost loved one may find some passages difficult to get through.
From enemies to lovers. This story starts off with the two main leads hating each other. This means there will be tension between the two characters. The male lead will not be nice. If you are easily offended by assholes, do not read. Which brings me to my next point.
Flawed characters. If you're looking for a book with a strong, decisive, confident woman, then this book is not for you. If you're looking for a charming, charismatic gentleman, this book is not for you. The main leads in this story are significantly flawed but will undergo character development. Please be patient as change does not happen overnight... or over one chapter.
Foreshadows. They're everywhere! It'll be fun to see if you can point them out as you read. This story took three years to write because of the amount of planning it took to tie every fine detail together in the end. Every moment has its reasons and unfortunately, the answers as to why may not be given until the very end (or even in Book 2!). So keep reading. You'll get your answers! I promise!
Grammar. I am a perfectionist! My book has been peer reviewed and edited on numerous occasions but neither my reviewer or myself are professional editors. If you happened to catch any grammatical errors, please alert me. I do not get offended by such remarks. They only help me improve.
The Prologue, though intense, does not depict the overall tone of the story, so please do not let it deter you from reading. It is a mere glimpse of the secretive past that the main Female Lead will slowly uncover. That being said, please read the warning at the bottom of this page. It is a spoiler and cannot be mentioned here.

This story includes a death lost to suicide. Though not written in graphic detail, some passages may be difficult to read. Lana (the female lead) will experience nightmares and flashbacks which will replay her most horrific night. I do not recommend reading if you are sensitive or prone to emotional turmoil.
